Multimedia ORF Online Package: The new website for the Eurovision Song Contest is online

Who will represent Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest? Who will Europe send to Vienna? How excited are fans from around the world about the competition? What happens during rehearsals at the Wiener Stadthalle? And what does the city of Vienna have to offer in connection with the Eurovision Song Contest? Answers to these and many other questions are now available on the new public website songcontest.ORF.at, which will serve as the ORF's central digital ESC hub.

A look behind the scenes and right into the action

With exciting stories about the world's biggest TV entertainment event, exclusive interviews, pictures, and videos, live tickers during the shows, and a social wall with posts from across the ESC universe, the platform offers a comprehensive view of the action. The new website provides behind-the-scenes insights and addresses topics that fans are interested in. From the Austrian preliminary round to the grand finale on May 16, 2026, songcontest.ORF.at is the main source of information for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Executive Producer Michael Krön: “It was particularly important to me to make the Eurovision Song Contest an event across all media. With our new website, we are offering a fresh, digital, and modern presentation of the Eurovision Song Contest in ORF DNA.”

The Eurovision Song Contest on ORF ON

ORF ON brings the Eurovision Song Contest to where the fans are: live, up close, and available anytime. All performances are available via live stream and in real time as catch-up, plus exclusive videos in a dedicated ON collection.

“The Eurovision Song Contest is not only the biggest music spectacle in the world, but also a mega digital event in the weeks surrounding the shows. Our new ESC platform is a reliable port of call for all ESC fans. I am delighted that the team has created a modern platform that will thrill all fans,” says Harald Kräuter, Director of Technology and Digitalization at ORF.

“We are extremely pleased to be able to accompany the Eurovision Song Contest here in Vienna with a modern and powerful internet presence,” says Stefan Pollach, Managing Director of ORF Online and Teletext GmbH & Co KG. “Our goal is to offer all fans a digital experience that does justice to the event in every respect.”

Managing Director Katharina Wagenhofer further emphasizes: “The Song Contest stands for diversity, innovation, and community. These are precisely the values we want to convey, thereby creating real added value for everyone. We will also be covering the Eurovision Song Contest on teletext, where fans can actively participate via ‘TXT meets ESC’.”

Once again this year, fans can follow their comments on the TV screen during the live shows on ORF TELETEXT. The special ‘TXT meets ESC’ service for the Eurovision Song Contest makes this possible. How does it work? Simply post your comments on debatte.ORF.at and join in the discussion. The most original contributions will be broadcast on air. In addition, ORF TELETEXT continuously provides news about artists and shows – to be found on ‘ESC 2026’ (page 450) and in ‘Culture and Show’ (pages 107, 110 and from 190 onwards).
