All of Vienna in Eurovision Song Contest fever

Not only will the Wiener Stadthalle create visibility for the mega-event in Vienna with the Eurovision Song Contest design, but a countdown clock is already located at the Wiener Rathausplatz, counting down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until the start of the Eurovision Song Contest with the Opening Ceremony on Sunday, May 10, at the Wiener Rathausplatz, heightening anticipation for the show week in May. Public transportation such as subways, trams, and buses will also be carrying the ESC design throughout the capital city and transporting thousands of ESC fans. To ensure the international audience can immediately feel the atmosphere of the Eurovision Song Contest, train stations and Schwechat Airport are equipped with Eurovision branding. Additionally, the Eurovision Song Contest will be visible in many other public places throughout Vienna in the form of posters, signage, and display objects.

The Wiener Stadthalle - the largest multifunctional arena in Austria

The Wiener Stadthalle is Austria's largest multifunctional arena and, with around 300 events and more than one million visitors per year, is one of the most frequently used arenas in Europe. Not only does it host concerts by top international stars, the Stadthalle has also been and continues to be the venue for numerous world and European championships, as well as a stage for major TV and show productions. What sets the Wiener Stadthalle apart is its incredible adaptability. Various event formats, from sports and entertainment to international show productions, can be implemented here at the highest level. This is made possible by powerful technical equipment, flexible space concepts, and an experienced team that continuously adapts to new requirements.

Located in the heart of Vienna, the Stadthalle has been a central meeting place for live experiences for decades. It stands for great emotions, special moments and the ability to inspire people again and again. Whether it's a sold-out concert, a show or an international sporting event. True to its motto ‘connecting since 1958’, the Wiener Stadthalle brings together people of different generations, cultures and interests. It is therefore much more than just a venue: it is a place of shared experiences, encounters and emotions, and an integral part of Austrian live culture that is constantly evolving.
