70. Eurovision Song Contest: COSMÓ's performance in the Eurovision Village and preparations for the second semifinal
On Thursday, May 14, 2026, COSMÓ will have his first major appearance in the second ESC semi-final at the Vienna Stadthalle – visible live on ORF 1 and ORF ON starting at 9:00 PM. He will present his „TANZSCHEIN“ performance to a European TV audience for the first time, out of competition. In the days following the Opening Ceremony, he promoted his song to national and international press and fans, including a visit to the Eurofan House at the Vienna Museum. On Tuesday, a performance in the Eurovision Village was also on the agenda, where COSMÓ performed his „TANZSCHEIN“ in front of numerous fans. On Wednesday, May 13, the first rehearsal in front of a live audience will take place.
COSMÓ: “We’ve had a great start to the show week; there have already been so many unique moments with the fans and the acts from other countries. There’s just a fantastic, positive atmosphere everywhere, and that gives us energy for the coming days. From today onwards, it’s all about focusing on the shows so we can deliver the best performance. It’s going to be very exciting to dance together with the audience; I’m really looking forward to it.”
COSMÓ's upcoming schedule until the finale of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026:
- Thursday, May 14: Semifinal 2 - live on ORF 1 and ORF ON (from 9:00 PM) - where COSMÓ will present his song „TANZSCHEIN“ non-competitively for the first time
- Friday, May 15: Final rehearsal - international juries award their points
- Saturday, May 16: Finale - entry number 25 - live on ORF 1 and ORF ON (from 9:00 PM)
The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 live and varied supporting program on ORF 1
ORF accompanies COSMÓ's exciting time at the Eurovision Song Contest in all its media (TV, radio, and online) and offers a comprehensive supporting program for ESC 2026 with documentaries, shows, and live reports.
The world's largest TV entertainment event will take place over three nights again: The first semifinal is on Tuesday, May 12, the second semifinal - which Austria's representative COSMÓ will perform in - is on Thursday, May 14, and the finale on Saturday, May 16, live from the Vienna Stadthalle starting at 9:00 PM on the program of ORF 1 and ORF ON. The two semi-final evenings will be opened at 8:15 PM by ORF commentator Andi Knoll with „Mr. Song Contest proudly presents“. On the final evening, Barbara Schöneberger hosts the two ORF/ARD/SRF framework shows „ESC - The Countdown“ (8:15 PM) and „ESC - The Aftershow“ (12:55 AM) live from the MuseumsQuartier Vienna.
