As of today, it's official: Emily Busvine will be welcoming the acts and delegations at the coffee house in the Green Room during all ESC shows at the Wiener Stadthalle. This was announced by ORF on the FM4 Morning Show, which Emily Busvine regularly hosts together with Philipp Emberger. Busvine will act as the café owner, greeting the contestants and inviting them for short chats, especially during the finale.

Emily Busvine: „I am pleased to be part of the shows of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in this unique role in the Green Room. I will ensure that all candidates feel comfortable in the Green Room and have a relaxing and enjoyable time, in the spirit of the Viennese coffeehouse culture. As a host, I will also engage the acts in a conversation or two - just as it might happen in a Viennese café.“

A convincing hostess in a Viennese coffee house

The Green Room, where the candidates wait after their performance, is the center of thrill at every Eurovision Song Contest. For the first time, the Green Room will be a very special venue: a traditional Viennese café. And what does every respectable Viennese coffee house need? A convincing hostess.

As a „waitress,“ FM4 Morning Show host Emily Busvine will not only serve coffee on a tray but will also hold short conversations with the candidates. The latter is particularly planned for the Grand Final on Saturday: How does it feel to be in the lead? Is the waiting time more relaxing than the moments before the performance? Emily will address these questions and present them to a million-strong audience.

About Emily Busvine

Emily Busvine was born in Vienna in 1996 and grew up in Berlin, Warsaw, and Moscow, among other places. She studied Political Science and Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge and moved back to Vienna in 2018, where she completed a master's degree at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. Since the beginning of 2026, Busvine has regularly co-hosted the FM4 Morning Show with Philipp Emberger. Her Anglo-Austrian background and growing up in various countries have provided her with a wild patchwork of pop culture knowledge. With this, she brings a multitude of perspectives to the FM4 studio and now also to the Eurovision Song Contest. When she's not hosting, she's performing on stage, playing dice games in epic D&D adventures, or walking with her dog Wookiee in the Vienna Woods.

Emily Busvine has already been involved with the Eurovision Song Contest. She hosted the YouTube live stream for „Vienna Calling,“ the Austrian national selection, which reached hundreds of thousands of Eurovision fans via the official Eurovision channel. With a 62 percent audience share in the key demographic of viewers under 34, the format was also a huge success.
