Eurovision Song Contest: Austria with starting number 25 in the final

Today, March 17, 2026, the “Head of Delegation” meeting for the 70th Eurovision Song Contest took place. Delegation heads from the participating countries traveled to Vienna, where they received an update from the host broadcaster ORF and representatives of the EBU on the current plans - from the Stadthalle to the opening ceremony.
The draw also determined the starting number for host country Austria in the grand final on May 16th: COSMÓ will close out the world's biggest music competition with „Tanzschein“ as the final act. The draw was supported by the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest mascot, Auri, who will be presented to the public at the next ORF ESC media update on Thursday, March 19th.
